Global Charter-Agenda for Human Rights in the City
Co-creating a renewed global vision by local governments on human rights
Have a say in the future version of the Global Charter-Agenda for Human Rights in the City: Send your contribution!
The consultation phase of the Charter-Agenda update process is open to the participation of all interested local governments, as well as their networking initiatives and other stakeholders in the human rights cities movement. Besides online forms of participation, this process will also count with live consultations taking place throughout 2021 and 2022. All these inputs will help produce a draft version of the new commitment. All new proposals by this consultation phase will be updated in this online platform, so we invite you to stay tuned for more updates.
How to participate?
Interested parties can take part in the currently open consultation phase by:
- Filling the dedicated questionnaire which will be made available soon
- Sending direct inputs and expressions of interest to cisdp1@uclg.org
New forms of participation will be made available in the coming weeks: Reach the cisdp1@uclg.org to express your interest in participating or share your thoughts with the UCLG-CSIPDHR Secretariat!
More information on alternative forms of participation
Besides these different forms of participation, interested members will also be invited to participate in live events at a later stage. The UCLG Meets platform will allow interested local governments to monitor how the process develops and stay tuned for calls to participate in live consultations.
Even though local government contributions will compose the main building block for the process, our coordination team is ready to articulate with existing local government networking initiatives and projects that address somehow the issue of human rights in the city. Specific forms of participation in this case will be made available soon.
